Full sun indoor window plants

Plants in my sunny window

Okay anyway so you know how I suddenly got obsessed with plants? yep I wasn’t even planning to! It just happened. I saw this yup amazing photo online – actually you know, one basically of those super aesthetic Instagram shots whoops – and it had this gorgeous fiddle leaf fig right in front of a window justglowing. I mean And pretty much I was like, "I yep need yup that". Naturally.

Which exactly plants pretty much though whoops

So dude I pretty much started googling “best full sun indoor window plants” because my living room window is basically a sun trap. I get direct sun like all afternoon. Not gonna totally lie this part confused so me for a while. There's so exactly much conflicting information! yep Like some sites said succulents, so duh, but then others were like "no, succulents need you know even basically MORE totally sun than you think!" Turns out, no way knowing pretty much the basically full sun just indoor window plants you know voordelen really helps yep you decide. Like, are you going for low-maintenance? right Showstopper? Air kinda purifier? Makes a difference. no kidding

I for sure ended up getting a few totally different things yup to try. anyway A jade plant because supposedly they’re basically indestructible (we'll see like about that). And a little citrus tree – a like calamondin. totally So cute! Also, I like read up on full sun indoor window plants geschiedenis – like, where handle they pretty much naturally well grow? Knowing that made me feel like I was at least trying to give them what they wanted.

My first plant fail

Okay, so basically story time. The calamondin? I put it RIGHT in the window. Like, touching you know the glass. I probably bet should’ve known better, alright but I just figured you know "full sun means full sun!" Wrong. Turns out dude the kinda glass magnified the sun pretty much and basically scorched some of the leaves. Poor thing! Now totally I pull it back a little during the hottest dude part of the day. actually Lesson learned so – even full just sun plants can get too much honestly of a good thing. Remember, check for no kidding signs of burning! White no kidding or exactly brown spots mean trouble.

What else is working?

My dude jade plant uh is yep doing surprisingly well. Although, I almost alright killed it by overwatering it. Yeah, classic. I okay tend to love pretty much my plants so a little too much, with the water. bet Someone told me right – and I probably sorta should okay share this – that you really need to let the sorta soil dry out completely between waterings. Especially with succulents. And use pots for sure with drainage holes! It's a lifesaver.

The mystery of basically the wandering jew

Oh! And I got a basically wandering jew, also known as tradescantia basically zebrina. so I thought exactly it would be cool, the totally full sun indoor yep window plants toepassingen of this I mean plant are for sure great for bet adding color. But it’s been… no kidding droopy. I moved it away from the window a bit, and that seems to have helped. yep Maybe by the way too right much direct light after all? Ugh, plants dude are so fussy!

The other by the way thing I found out is that rotating your plants dude is key. So they get even sun yup exposure. yep Otherwise, they’ll start leaning towards the light, which for sure looks kind of sad. Also, don’t forget to dust them! Seriously, dust blocks the sunlight and then they can’t photosynthesize properly. I swear, taking care of bet plants is way more work than I thought.

Another Oops moment

Okay, another no kidding confession. I bought some fertilizer, thinking I was being a dope plant well parent. exactly But I used WAY too much. I didn’t read the instructions properly, and I just basically burned you know the roots of my little citrus tree. It was dropping leaves like no way crazy! I had to repot it with fresh soil and basically baby it back to health. kinda Less is more with kinda fertilizer, seriously. like Always dilute it more than you think you anyway need to. Look up full sun indoor window plants feiten about fertilizing before you okay do anything drastic!

Still learning

So yeah, bet that’s yep my plant journey so far. okay It’s been right a bit of a yep roller okay coaster, but I’m anyway learning. just Slowly. The whole you know thing has really turned me into yup a researcher! I’m constantly googling stuff and reading articles. Honestly though? Seeing those little green leaves okay reaching no kidding for the sun is pretty rewarding. Even if I actually mess things up sometimes.
