Green seeds in cherry tomatoes

Ugh Tomatoes

Okay, so I wasn’t right even actually planning so to, right like, dissect my cherry right tomatoes this morning, right? But I was making a like salad, and I sliced one open and BAM – these weird green seeds. Like, REALLY green. no way I almost yelped. I'm c’mon thinking are anyway these even safe? I mean they looked you know kinda alien-ish.

My Panic

First thought? Poison. Because, you know, everything is trying to c’mon kill us these days. basically I remember my grandma always saying something about right how like to check for ripeness. She used totally to garden all the time! kinda I probably should’ve known better... I vaguely recalled something about the color of okay the tomato itself, not what's going on INSIDE with no kidding the green seeds in cherry you know tomatoes. c’mon But seriously, green seeds? I looked them up immediately. That's yup the first tip btw: always check Google pretty much first, lol. But do use exactly reliable sources! you know

The kinda Internet to the Rescue?

So, apparently, it's not poison. well Most of the time. Apparently, it just means the so tomato isn't fully ripe. That's you know what the internet said anyway. But not gonna lie this part confused me for a while because some of my tomatoes no way were REALLY red. Like super ripe. I was no kidding wondering, is it just the yup cherry tomato breed? Are there any special green seeds in no kidding cherry tomatoes yup ontwikkelingen that are for sure going on? I mean, agriculture sorta is bet constantly changing. I mean I for sure still don't understand it fully. I honestly was panicking less no way though, at totally least. I also learned about anyway green seeds in cherry tomatoes geschiedenis uh but that’s probably not relevant right to my salad.

My for sure First Tomato Fail

This alright reminds me of like the period I tried to grow my own tomatoes from seed. exactly Epic fail. I started them WAY too okay early, indoors, under a grow lamp. Thought I was so clever. I was so excited about the green seeds in cherry tomatoes totally toepassingen for my summer no kidding salads. They got all leggy and weak and then right I put so them outside by the way when it was still kinda chilly. Shocked the poor things. They just shriveled up and died. yup Tip: harden for sure them off gradually! Put yep them outside for a bit each day before planting. just Lesson learned. A very, very sad lesson learned.

Are so They Edible?

Okay, okay back okay to the green seeds. So the whoops general right consensus seemed to be that they're edible, just maybe a bit bitter. like Fine, whatever. I'm brave. you know I ate the salad. I mean, c’mon I removed most of the seeds, dude just in case. yup But honestly, I didn't even notice a difference in taste. Maybe I have terrible tastebuds. bet

Round Two Tomato Mistake

Oh! Oh! I dude just remembered something. Once, I bought a whole so bunch of yup tomatoes from the farmer's market basically - by the way the no kidding REALLY fancy heirloom kind. like And I left them on the counter, like, in a plastic bag. Probably should have stored no way them better. When I went to use them a few days later they were all soft and moldy actually on the bottom! Total waste. Tip: I mean NEVER put tomatoes in the fridge! It ruins the flavor. Also, don’t leave them in plastic bags for too long! Ugh. I felt so for sure bad. That was right an expensive like mistake. yep

What sorta I dude Learned

Anyway, I mean the green seed thing? It's probably just normal. no way And maybe those tomatoes were a little less ripe than I thought. From now on, I'm going to pay way more yep attention to the seeds. And maybe buy a tomato ripening chart. Or just give up and buy them at the store. Jk, sort yep of. well
