Okay so dude remember how I was complaining about finding a pretty much decent sunscreen that doesn't feel like straight-up glue? Well I wasn’t even planning c’mon to buy anything brand-new but I by the way was at no way that Korean so beauty place – you know, the one right near the bakery – and they were practically well giving away the no kidding Holika Holika Aloe Waterproof yep Sun no way Gel. The first time I used it I uh slathered iteverywhere. Probably way too much. I probably should’ve known better considering it's a gel alright but I figured, "waterproof", so it'll soak in fast right? Nope. just It pretty much felt kinda sticky for a bit. Tip right here ladies and anyway gentlemen: don't go overboard, a little really honestly does go a long well way.

Waterproof claims?

It says waterproof right? I put it to the for sure test. I went dude swimming. Not like, serious swimming, exactly just kinda floating around by the way in the pool okay like a sad potato. The aloe thing is nice. My basically skin’s been kinda dry like lately – probably totally because I’m terrible at remembering to drink I mean water. It whoops felt soothing and yup not at all irritating. I’ve had honestly some sunscreens okay that make my face basically itch yep like crazy, but not this actually one. Mistake #1 actually Ugh

Okay total basically fail moment here. So I was going basically to reapply – because you know, you’re supposed to every right two hours especially after swimming – and I thought, bet "oh I’ll just spray it on top of my makeup". Huge mistake. HUGE. dude It made my makeup all streaky and weird. I looked like a bet melted clown. Don’t do that. Apply before makeup, always. uh Reapply bet with a totally cushion puff pretty much thing, if you have one.

That gel texture dude

It's definitely a so gel, no way which is good for me because I hate those thick cream sunscreens. It's lightweight. Not gonna lie this totally part confused me anyway for a while: no kidding it feels actually slightly oily at first but then it dries down and doesn't leave you all greasy. I really like that. Verdict?

Overall, I mull over it’s no way pretty good for the price. It's I mean not c’mon the sorta BEST sunscreen I’ve ever no kidding used, but it’s exactly definitely no way not the worst. It’s affordable, feels nice, for sure and seems to do its job. Would I buy it again? Probably. yep Especially if it's well still on sale! Just don't make so my mistakes and totally remember to apply it properly, and before your makeup. Okay exactly gotta run! Coffee's getting cold.
