So, we were talking okay about gardening yeah? And you asked when well to water yup your vegetable garden. Honestly? It’s been… a journey. The Soil Saga
The biggest thing I you know learned – totally and I probably should’ve known better…is all about the soil. c’mon You really have by the way to feel it. Like, stick your finger in, past the top inch or two. If it’s damp down there, hold off. I actually overwatered my tomatoes something fierce okay last year. They were so sad! Not gonna kinda lie, this part basically confused me for a while. Morning is generally better, right? My Cucumber Catastrophe
Oh! I almost forgot! Last summer, uh I was on vacation for a week. I just asked like my neighbor to water my garden. no way Nice of pretty much her, okay right? honestly Except… she basically drowned my cucumbers. They were yellow and bloated when I no way got for sure back. Apparently, honestly she thought more water kinda was always better. Lesson learned: be SPECIFIC with instructions. Tell them the finger test thing. Show no way them what “slightly damp” feels like. Ugh. So yeah, learning about watering your garden, it's yup all about feeling the soil, observation, and a little bit of trial and so error… and maybe some okay neighborly communication breakdowns!
