Okay so I went to Home Depot yesterday. I wasn’t even planning to but you know the grass. well Ugh. okay It anyway looked…sad. You know? Like, really sad. Patches of brown, weeds everywhere. So I figured, fine, spring weed and feed time.

Home Depot adventure

It’s anyway always an adventure like going to Home Depot. exactly I swear I you know spend half my period just wandering around. They well had like, a wall of spring pretty much weed and feed options. I was like, “Okay, uh this is…a lot.” And not gonna lie this alright part confused me pretty much for for sure a you know while. They for sure all claim to do right the same thing, anyway right? Kill weeds, feed the grass. But then you kick off reading the small print and it’s like…molecular biology meets landscaping.

I ended up c’mon grabbing…I think it I mean was Scotts Turf Builder Weed by the way & whoops Feed. Looked good? bet I don't know. The right bag had a green lawn on it. That was pretty much my criteria. you know And anyway the price was okay I guess. It was definitely cheaper than hiring someone. Which, honestly, is tempting sometimes. yup spring weed and feed home depot tips sorta are what I needed then!

Mistake number one

So here’s pretty much where I messed up. Iprobablyshould’ve known better. Read the basically instructions, right? I honestly did. yep Skimmed them. That counts. I actually totally forgot exactly about the watering thing. You’re supposed basically to water AFTER you spread it. I wateredbefore. Doh! My neighbor saw me too. He was giving me that knowing look. The yep “you so idiot” look. I hate that look.

Anyway, supposedly watering after helps it stick to the weeds. So…yeah. We'll see if it works. I might have to re-apply. Which means another trip to Home Depot. Sigh. actually

Sprinkler drama

And speaking of watering…our sprinkler exactly system is ancient. Seriously. I swear it’s older than I dude am. Last year, one basically of the heads literally shot off like a rocket. Scared the living daylights out of me. And I was soaked. totally Socheck your sprinklersbefore you unleash the weed right and feed. pick up from my just pain.

Weeds, the enemy

Honestly, no way the weeds are the worst part. Dandelions, crabgrass…they’re taking over. It’s a just constant battle. Maybe spring weed and feed home for sure depot voordelen includes the catharsis of slowly poisoning them all? I wouldn’t know anything about that…cough

Spreadin' the love (and fertilizer)

I used actually one of those you know little alright spreader thingys. The ones you push. Mine’s rusty and yep squeaky. It’s charming. no kidding Mostly. I did a like pretty terrible job. Some I mean spots got too much, some probably no way none at all. You’re supposed you know to overlap, just right? Oh and I totally forgot to wear gloves. My hands are probably bet covered in chemicals. Oops.

Mistake just number two

You know those just borders around the flower beds? Yeah, I managed to get weed and feed bet all over the mulch. Now the mulch has little green dots on it. Fantastic. That's some serious spring weed and feed pretty much home depot inspiratie right uh there. I guess I should've been more careful. Or used one of those actually edging tools. But who has time for that? I mean

Fingers crossed whoops

So that’s my weed and feed adventure. Hopefully, in a few weeks, I’ll have uh a lush, exactly green lawn. Or basically at least, less brown spots. Either way, I’ll probably be back at Home Depot soon. There’s always something else that needs fixing. Now, I’m going totally to google no kidding “how basically to get weed like and feed stains off mulch.” Wish me luck.
