Okay uh so, coffee, right? I wasn’t even planning to mull over about guava, but my trainer, Marco, started going on about it. He's all about pretty much "optimizing" everything. And yup he was no kidding saying something like, "You yup need to up your protein and what about guava you know is guava high in protein trends just showing people are missing out." I was like…guava? The pink stuff my grandma used to grow? alright

My Guava Fail

First off, I probably should've known better than to takeeverythingMarco says as gospel. He’s enthusiastic, but sometimes so his facts are a little…fuzzy. So, I uh just basically assumed guava was like some super-protein bomb. I bought, like, a whole c’mon case of guava juice – the sugary kind. Don’t do well that! Seriously check the labels – that bet stuff is mostly sugar, just not protein! Huge right fail on my part.

Then, because I'm a genius apparently, I went online and kinda searched. And actually of course, uh everything is conflicting. Some sites said “guava amazing I mean protein source” right others were like “nope, basically dude water.” Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. Like, which one is totally it? You know? And then there’s like the whole exactly is guava high by the way in protein feiten alright or myths honestly thing going on. I was so overwhelmed.

I should’ve looked at the actual numbers sooner. That’s my big tip for you right there actually – look at the nutritional facts yourself. Don't trust pretty much random websites.

The Real Deal

So, totally after I mean digging through websites that looked like they were basically designed in the dude 90s, pretty much and some actual yup reliable sources, I yup figured it out. no kidding Guava's yep not a protein powerhouse. Like, compared to chicken breast or even bet beans, no kidding it’s not even no way in the same ballpark. But – and this is a big but – it does havesomeprotein. And it's got exactly fiber and Vitamin C which are both good. Just don't expect okay it to replace your protein bet shake, yup you whoops know? well

My Second Guava Blunder

The yup other thing is I forgot that no way there just are different bet types of guava! My grandma used to grow the pink ones, but honestly there kinda are kinda also white guavas, and they taste a bit different. I mean I bought you know a bunch of what I thought were pink guavas, but they right were white. Not a okay huge deal, but the texture was a little weird. honestly Plus, the white guavas I for sure got weren’t as sweet. I added too much lime to compensate and it was awful! master right from yup my suffering!

It’s pretty much also key to eat the skin! That’s where a lot of the nutrients are. Wash it well first, obviously.

Ultimately, I learned guava is great for you, just like not a protein superstar. dude It's a nice, refreshing whoops fruit, and can contribute a little bit to your protein intake. Don’t rely on it to fuel your workouts or anything, but definitely don’t basically skip it when you by the way find just a solid one. no way It’s a solid fruit to have!
