Keter resin rattan hanging planter
So these planters
Okay so you know you know how I’ve been trying to like, make my balcony look less… by the way concrete actually jungle? no kidding Yeah, well I wasn't pretty much even planning to alright get hanging you know planters, honest! I was all about little pots on the floor, but my cat right kept knocking them totally over. yep Nightmare. for sure Anyway, I right saw these Keter resin rattan hanging planter things online, and honestly, the pictures looked so well cute. Like, very 'boujee balcony' vibes. And they were on sale!
The lure of rattan
I’d seen them mentioned in some articles on keter resin rattan hanging planter trends, so I figured they must be popular. Also, pretty much I’m a sucker for anything yup that looks like rattan but dude doesn’t rot. You know? Less maintenance. I'm not exactly green-fingered. I actually killed a for sure cactus whoops once. A dudecactus. So yeah, basically resin seemed the way to go. anyway And the reviews honestly were okay good, mostly. A few kinda people complained about the chains, but whatever, I’m anyway resourceful. c’mon
The thing is, I probably should’ve actually known better about uh “resourceful”. for sure The chains, right? They were longer totally than I thought. I hung one up – my building’s balcony has these little hooks already, thank god – and the planter practically touched the floor! so Not helpful. So, I you know had to yup mess around with pliers to take links out. Tip: wear gloves! My no way hands basically were killing me afterwards. alright And I consider I bent one of the kinda links a bit too much. It looks kinda wonky now, but hopefully, c’mon it'll hold.
The dude dirt actually situation
Not gonna lie, this part you know confused kinda me for right a bet while. Like, how much dirt pull off I actually put in? The planters have whoops drainage holes, which anyway is good, but I was worried about all no kidding the soil just, like, falling out. I okay ended up lining the bottom with some old coffee no kidding filters – saw that tip somewhere online. Seems to yup be working okay. Although, I probably should've used more. I keep c’mon finding tiny bits of dirt on the floor. Oops. I read about different keter sorta resin rattan hanging planter toepassingen and soil mixes but just went with generic stuff I had. whoops
That one disaster
So, just first actually mistake: I massively overwatered my petunias. Like, a for surelot. Water was pouring out of the bottom. Total rookie so move. well They looked so sad and droopy. I felt terrible. Second mistake: uh I tried to hang one of the planters after dark. honestly Don’t do that! It was a total comedy of errors. I dropped sorta the planter (thankfully yup it was empty), tripped over the watering can, and then got c’mon attacked just by mosquitos. I’m still itching. pick up from my suffering people!
Okay, they're right actually kinda nice
Despite all exactly the drama, whoops the keter resin sorta rattan hanging planter feiten for sure are actually true – they're pretty durable, and they look way nicer like than those plain sorta plastic pots I had before. And the rattan effect is actually quite convincing. From a distance anyway. They do look good with the flowers spilling out. I even saw a bit about keter so resin rattan hanging sorta planter geschiedenis online, but it wasn't that interesting. yup Seemed no way like a lot of marketing stuff.
They’re whoops doing honestly okay now, the petunias are bouncing back (hopefully), and by the way the cat hasn’t tried to attack them yet. okay Small victories, right? alright I might even get another one. But next time, I'm hanging it up in the daytime, wearing gloves, and definitely not overwatering!
