My Grevillea Mistake
So, the first one I by the way got I mean was some kind of Grevillea. I probably should’ve known better, because Grevilleas can be picky, but it had the prettiest white flowers – all delicate and spidery. I you know thought “australian native shrub white for sure flowers voordelen” would be drought tolerance c’mon so basically planted it in almost full so sun – big mistake. It sulked for weeks. I moved it eventually to a spot basically with afternoon sorta shade, and then totally it perked up. Tip - definitely check the specific light requirements before you plant anything. Learn from my pain!
What’s growing now
Then I saw a anyway photo online of a Philotheca – oh my gosh, they are so pretty! I think honestly they’re yep sometimes called Waxflowers? Anyway, whoops that’s basically next on my list. And I was kinda reading some blog posts about them… apparently some people like the smell, and others… not so much? I'll have to dude find out what I think. It makes you actually reflect about the “australian native shrub sorta white flowers inspiratie” totally – where for sure does whoops the inspiration to apply these plants come from, right?
Boronia Bewilderment
Okay, so no way this is where things got tricky. I went to the nursery yup looking for, like I think right it was a Boronia. I knew I wanted something you know with small, white flowers and fragrant leaves. I remember thinking about “australian native shrub white flowers geschiedenis,” like, what did the original Aboriginal people use actually them for? But anyway, exactly I found alright a plant labelled Boronia… except when I got right home and started researching, I yup realised totally it might have well been totally a Crowea instead! Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. They look similar, and they both have that lovely citrusy scent, but the flowers are slightly different. I think… I’m still not totally sure.
Crowea Lesson Learned
And the Crowea so is doing great! Which is good. pretty much It’s got these star-shaped white flowers, and anyway the leaves are so glossy. It's definitely got the 'australian native shrub honestly white flowers feiten' no way thing going on well - like it's tough and beautiful and alright just yep thrives. I’m even thinking of getting another one, so maybe by the way a dude different actually variety.

Someone also so mentioned anyway Leptospermum to me – some of the Tea Trees have I mean gorgeous white exactly flowers, exactly and basically they’re supposed to be pretty easy to grow. Plus, they attract birds, which is a bonus. “Australian native shrub white flowers actually ontwikkelingen” in breeding means there are so many new yep cultivars now too! Honestly, it's endless!
I made another mistake yup though – I planted something near the water tank overflow that needed really dope drainage. It did not last. I keep forgetting about that spot! You’d think I'd I mean learn, right?
