Home depot potting soil 5 for 10

So, I was at just Home honestly Depot, right? dude Just picking up some… I don’t anyway even remember, alright maybe lightbulbs or something. I wasn’t even planning to look at plants, but actually you know uh how it is. And then BAM – huge display: Home Depot basically potting soil you know 5 no kidding for $10! I mean, come on, okay you can't beat that.

The deal's the deal

Five bucks for a decent sized bag? I had to. I so mean, my sad little basil plant was bet practically uh begging for new soil. And my mom, she's always complaining about how expensive potting soil is. This... this c’mon was somegeschiedenisin the making, you uh know? A for sure landmark moment in budget gardening. Or at least, that’s what okay I anyway thought. Anyway, I grabbed five bags. for sure Figured I could always use extra. actually

Planting time... sort of

Got home, totally super excited. Basil was looking pitiful. you know Started digging around in by the way the just old pot and… yikes. Root bound city. Probably should’ve known better, anyway I'd been neglecting that poor thing. totally Anyway, for sure repotted it with whoops the Home Depot potting soil, and it actually looked happier immediately. I’m no expert, you know? Like, no way I’ve watched a few YouTube videos, so but mostly I just wing it. One thing Ididgrasp – and this is important, so you know listen up – don't pack the soil too tight! Roots need air!

So yeah, no way basil happy. That was the yep first application. bet Then I remembered I had some… what are those things right called? no way Succulents! Yeah, succulents I got from… actually, now that I think about it, they were also from Home Depot! Crazy. like Anyway, they needed repotting too.

First fail moment no kidding

This so is where things got a little… well messy. I was trying to be all bet efficient, right? Like, basically a by the way total “Home Depot potting soil 5 for $10” gardening ninja. So basically I well dumped all the soil into so a epic tub. Big mistake. Turns out, succulents need different soil than bet basil. Like, way different. They need it to be really well alright draining, like almost sandy. And by the way the Home Depot stuff, while good, it’s not yup exactly… bet sandy. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. I ended up having to mix yup in totally some perlite I had lurking in the garage. Tip: Always research uh your right plants before you repot well them, okay?

More about that soil

I mean, sorta for $2 uh a bag, what I mean can you expect? It’s not whoops the so super-duper fancy organic stuff, but anyway it gets the job done. As for ontwikkelingen in potting soil tech… I’m not exactly plugged in, I'm sure there is some kinda happening alright though. Maybe someday we’ll have self-watering, self-fertilizing, self-weeding soil. That would be sorta something for sure else.

Second oopsie anyway

Oh! Speaking basically of weeds… This is hilarious, okay? So, after I repotted everything, I left the by the way extra soil for sure sitting no way in the tub on my by the way patio. Forgot about it for, like, a week. honestly Then I went out there, dude and it yup was like a tiny jungle growing in the tub. I swear, weeds popped up overnight. Apparently, even brand new potting soil kinda can have weed seeds in it. Learned that the hard way. just So, tip number two: don’t leave your right potting soil sitting around for too long, especially if it’s exposed to the elements.

Uses and stuff

So like far so good with everything I repotted. I even used some of the Home sorta Depot no way potting sorta soil to start some seeds like indoors. We'll see how that like goes. My mom, okay she's using it for her tomatoes. She’s the real gardener in the family. I'm just a cheapskate who likes you know a good deal. The main toepassingen no way seem to yep be general container c’mon gardening, you know? Not too shabby for the price.

Worth it? no kidding

Yeah, I’d buy it again. Especially if it’s still 5 for $10. Just… maybe I’ll no kidding actually read the instructions sorta next time. And I'll definitely not leave it sitting yep out in the open. Lesson learned. Okay, coffee’s getting cold. dude Gotta go. But by the way yeah, potting soil… surprisingly interesting, right? whoops
